How can you make a difference? 

The Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) Digital Team of UNICEF Thailand is offering a structured 4 months, with a possibility of a 2-month extension for Enrolled university student (third year or above, including graduate level) or recent graduates passionate about children’s rights and eager to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation, graphic design, and performance media.

This opportunity provides exposure to real-world digital engagement work, connecting people to UNICEF’s mission through innovative storytelling, visual design, and data-driven campaigns. Digital advocacy and public campaigns.

Scope of Work

Under the supervision of the Digital Fundraising Team, the Young Professional will:

• Assist in designing visual assets for digital fundraising campaigns, including social media ads, landing page, and etc.
• Support the development of creative concepts that align with UNICEF’s brand identity and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with content and media teams to ensure visual consistency across platforms.

Duration

4 months with possibility of a 2-month extension, part-time (approximately 16-24 hours or 2-3 days per week), with flexible working arrangements to accommodate academic schedules.

Learning & Development

During the programme, Young Professionals will gain:

• Hands-on Experience: Practical exposure to real-world digital fundraising and engagement projects.
• Creative Skills Enhancement: Opportunity to refine graphic design skills and apply branding principles in professional campaigns.
• Digital Marketing Insights: Understanding of how design integrates with content strategy, performance media, and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaboration & Communication: Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, improving teamwork and project management skills.
• Portfolio Development: Creation of high-quality design assets for UNICEF campaigns that can be showcased in future job applications.
• Exposure to Global Standards: Learn UNICEF’s brand guidelines and best practices in humanitarian digital communication.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate:

Overall Qualifications

• Enrolled university student (third-year and beyond) or recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g., graphic design, communications, digital media).
• Demonstrated interest in children’s rights, development, or humanitarian work.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world projects.
• Basic understanding of digital platforms (e.g., social media, websites).
• Strong communication in Thai and English

 

Role-Specific Qualifications: Graphic Design

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and etc.
• Understanding of visual composition, color theory, typography, and branding principles.
• Ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals that align with campaign goals and UNICEF’s brand identity.
• Experience in designing digital platforms (e.g., social media, web banners, and etc.).
