The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Unit Secretary Completes scheduling for all new and returning patients in the outpatient infusion center, ensures all required elements to complete the service are obtained prior to scheduling, and collaborates with Admin Coordinators to ensure authorization is obtained prior to scheduling.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Clerical experience to include typing and filing preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• N/A

Scheduling Requirements:

• Part-Time, Days – 24 hours per week
• Shifts can vary from Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, or 8:30-5:00pm
  • Flexibility to work Saturday shfit 7:30am-2pm

Essential Functions:

• The Unit Secretary Completes scheduling for all new and returning patients in the outpatient infusion center
• Ensures all required elements to complete the service are obtained prior to scheduling
• Will coordinate with physician practices, CMC departments i.e. blood bank, HIM, as well as the infusion nursing team in order to provide timely care,
• Collaborates with Admin Coordinators to ensure authorization is obtained prior to scheduling.
