Our welcoming secondary school in Chichester is looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join their team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, inspire young people, and make a real difference in their education.As an Unqualified Teacher, you will cover lessons in the absence of regular teachers, delivering pre-planned materials across a variety of subjects. Your role will involve managing the classroom, ensuring students remain focused and engaged, and creating a positive learning environment. While you won’t be expected to create new lesson plans, your presence and support will play a vital role in the students’ progress and development.This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and are considering a teaching career but do not yet hold formal teaching qualifications.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Manage student behavior and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Keep students engaged and on track with their learning tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in managing groups of students.
• A passion for education and a desire to support student learning and development.

Expected salary

£90 – 130 per day
