Daily performs clean-up duties including proper washing and storage of all dishes, glassware, and silverware.
Ensures cleanliness and proper storage of all pots, pans, props, and all other utensils.
Ensures that all food areas & dish room are clean at end of shift.
Sweep and mop floors daily.
Daily at the start of the shift, fills the 2 ice stations in the beverage area of the dining room.
Keep dish machine always cleaned and change out dirty water on an as needed basis.
Daily cleaning of all F&B areas as instructed, to include walls, ceiling, floor mats, equipment, and kitchen back door area.
Empty all garbage and clean cans when needed and at the end of the shift.
Helps with storing away dry storage goods as they arrive.
Responsible for following all Food Service Guidelines (see separate document).
Performs other tasks or duties as assigned by the executive chef.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to work with cafeteria equipment.
Working knowledge of restaurant cleaning methods. This is normally acquired through three months on the job experience.
Ability to follow instructions, adapt quickly to changes and work independently.
Good time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to meet sanitation standards which include personal hygiene.
Ability to tolerate extensive standing.
Must follow dress code.
Working Conditions:
Normal dining room and cafeteria working conditions. Exposure to hot surfaces and sharp instruments, etc. Lifting of up to 35 lbs. required. Hours are Monday through Friday with some weeknights.
Pay and Benefits:
The hiring range for this role is $16 – $17 per hour.
Hours are typically 8 am until 4 pm Monday through Friday.
