Role objectives | 1. Data Management and Quality Control: ● Ensure that field reports from implementing partners are received on a monthly basis are process into the national mine action database, particularly focusing on Explosive Ordnance Casualties and Victim Assistance data. ● Verify the accuracy and consistency of all data contained in the reports and track/report the data integrity and consistency issues. ● Resolve any inconsistencies in the data before entering it into the database. ● Ensure the safety, security, and integrity of the database and its information at all times. ● Assist in the management and maintenance of the filing and archiving systems for the database, ensuring synchronization across systems. 2. IT Support and Equipment Management: ● Monitor and maintain the continuous operation of critical IT components such as the internet connection, Wi-Fi, printer networking, and online server management. ● Maintain an inventory of all computer, telecommunication equipment, I/O devices, and software within the office, ensuring compliance with registration and upgrades. ● Provide troubleshooting and help desk support for hardware and software issues. ● Prepare IT equipment for incoming staff, ensuring all devices are properly configured and operational. 3. GIS Support and Analysis: ● Preparation of GIS maps for operational and reporting purposes. ● Conduct GIS data analysis to support ongoing field operations and decision-making processes. Ensure timely and accurate data processing with a focus on Explosive Ordnance Casualties and Victim Assistance data, maintain data integrity and secure database management, provide uninterrupted IT operations and support, ensure well-prepared IT infrastructure and inventory management, and deliver effective GIS mapping and analysis to enhance operational decision-making and reporting. Qualifications required 1.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Management or related field with one (2) year of experience 2. Experience in ICT Configuration. 3. Experience in Software Implementation. 4. Experience in Geographic Information System (GIS). 1 .Working Experience in IMSMA. 2. Experience in Troubleshooting is highly desired. 3.Mine Action experience.
