Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager.
This role is based in Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 – $137500.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
As a Value Stream Manager, you will guide our manufacturing team in achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost Out goals. You will plan and monitor key metrics to ensure quality, cost, delivery and safety requirements are met.
In this role, you will:
• Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, near miss reporting, 8D investigations, equipment maintenance, and safety principles enforcement that help achieve safety objectives to improve incident rate, OSHME score, and safety risk rating.
• Meet or exceed product quality requirements using plant quality tools, including LPA, QAR, first piece approval, and audit processes. Deploy and reinforce quality expectations with Frontline Managers and production associates, with a focus on accountability.
• Maintain the quality as well as quantity of various manufactured parts so that they meet engineering specifications. Manage each work center to achieve the lowest level of scrap and rework possible.
• Select, develop, and motivate product line personnel and resources to achieve established goals for productivity, quality/scrap, cost, engagement, and profit.
• Establish product line priorities as they apply to current product, standards and processes and monitor and improve general plant activities such as safety, 5S, lean initiatives, and communication/information systems.
• Work with Production Control to establish appropriate inventory levels, and adherence to the established inventory goals.
• SIOP process co-owner in conjunction with Production Control, through the forecasting of production output for areas of responsibility.
• Assist the Operations Manager in setting, communicating, and achieving department goals and objectives. Develops and maintains performance metrics as required to drive results and analyze results as a tool for identifying and initiating process improvements.
• Fully engages workforce and promotes personal accountability by identifying goals, empowering employees to drive decision making, fostering innovation and continuous learning, by providing ongoing feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business System processes and problem-solving tools such as Eaton Lean System, Six Sigma, and 5S. Drive the company’s vision and mission by reinforcing ethics, values and quality policies throughout areas of responsibility to help improve employee involvement and communications to achieve strategic operating objectives. Act as a strong advocate of Lean operating principles and database decision making.
• Assist with capital project planning under the direction of the Operations Manager
• Own the overall performance. Facilitate smooth hand offs between all shifts, identify and facilitate continuous improvement activity, participate and lead initiatives to meet plant level goals, work with Shift Supervisors to set appropriate staffing levels and staffing alignment.
• Analyze operating reports and take necessary corrective action to effectively control all costs and expenses related to the department.
• Ensure that all SAP systems and functions are being maintained, supported, and used.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Five (5) years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, or logistics environment

Two (2) years of management/supervisory experience

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management from an accredited institution

Five (5) years of supervisory experience

Experience working in an Engineered to Order environment

Experience with machining, assembly, fabrication operations

Lean and Continuous Improvement experience

ISO 9001 familiarity

SAP

Excel proficiency
