TOOS Consulting is looking for experts in the field of Veterinary Medicinal Product Control Center (VETKOM) in Turkey. This project, in line with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) and international best practices, will involve conducting a comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), developing a Stakeholder Engagement Plan, and preparing Sub-Management Plans for Contractors.
The ESIA will evaluate environmental and social risks during the design, construction, and operational phases, incorporating air quality and noise measurements, as well as stakeholder consultations. Given the scale and importance of this initiative, STOOS Consulting is seeking qualified experts with experience in environmental and social assessments for World Bank-funded projects.
Animal Welfare Specialist
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Animal Welfare Management Plan and make recommendations for the elimination and/or reduction of risks related to animal welfare.
Qualifications
- Graduate from veterinary medicine.
- At least 10 (ten) years of workexperience in ABSL-3 / BSL-3 / BSL-2 veterinary diagnostic labs or vaccine production sites as an animal welfare specialist.
- Experience in at least 2 (two) environmental and social impact assessment studies according to the standards of international financial institutions (WB, IFC, EBRD, etc.) shall be an asset.
Diplomas of technical personnel and documents showing similar work experience shall be submitted to the Administration at the proposal stage.
