STOOS Consulting is looking for experts in the field of Veterinary Medicinal Product Control Center (VETKOM) in Turkey. This project, in line with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) and international best practices, will involve conducting a comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), developing a Stakeholder Engagement Plan, and preparing Sub-Management Plans for Contractors.
The ESIA will evaluate environmental and social risks during the design, construction, and operational phases, incorporating air quality and noise measurements, as well as stakeholder consultations. Given the scale and importance of this initiative, STOOS Consulting is seeking qualified experts with experience in environmental and social assessments for World Bank-funded projects.
Responsibilities
- S/He will identify the biosecurity risks of the project at local, regional and national levels and make recommendations for the elimination and/or mitigation of the risks.
- It will identify the risks associated with the biological waste management of the project and make recommendations for the elimination and/or reduction of the risks. Qualifications
- Graduate from veterinary medicine, biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, biotechnology.
- At least 10 (ten) years of work experience in ABSL-3 / BSL-3 / BSL-2 veterinary diagnostic labs or vaccine production sites as an biosafety specialist.
- S/he will be a certified biosafety expert in current international biosafety risk management.
- In the last 10 years, have completed at least 1 (one) environmental and social impact assessment studies according to the standards of international financial institutions (WB, IFC, EBRD, etc.) for the biosafety elements in relation to human or animal health.
Diplomas of technical personnel and documents showing similar work experience shall be submitted to the Administration at the proposal stage.
