Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs

Position description

The Department of Political Science and International Affairs at Berry College invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor in international affairs, starting in August 2025. We seek a candidate with expertise in international relations, with an openness to any specialty area. Candidates will also contribute courses on contemporary world issues to the Foundations curriculum. This faculty member will teach seven courses annually and help support the College’s Model United Nations program.

The Department is committed to preparing students to become good citizens of the United States and the world. We seek candidates who demonstrate aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts environment, and a commitment to mentoring and guiding students. We are especially interested in candidates whose teaching will contribute to Berry’s Good Neighbor Culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Political Science, International Relations, or International Affairs required by August 2025.
