The Lee laboratory is focused on understanding disease-induced changes in the tissue microenvironment and their impact on drug distribution and therapeutic actions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Keep accurate records of the experiments suitable for the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals.

Present the results at scientific meetings.

Participate in weekly lab meetings, Journal Clubs and common seminars within the Department.

Learn and perform hands-on experiments to make progress in research projects.

Data analysis and quantification.

Participate in writing manuscripts and grant proposals.

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices, and methods.
  • Proficient in specific lab research techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in science preferred.
  • Previous experience with lab work.
  • Experience with optical microscopy and protein/antibody engineering and synthesis is advantageous.
  • Omics study and bioinformatics experience is preferred.
