Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse. You will be responsible for picking and packing outgoing parts orders based on printed work orders, which will guide you through the aisles, areas, labels, and quantities needed. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack outgoing parts orders following printed work orders.
• Operate sit-down forklifts (Komatsu and Toyota) and pallet jacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, ensuring aisles are free from miscellaneous packaging such as paper, tape, and cardboard.
• Properly park pallet jacks to avoid congestion and ensure safety.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience using RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.

Work Environment

The warehouse spans approximately 50-70k sq ft and typically operates with 1-2 forklifts at a time. Warehouse Associates will transport packed and wrapped final orders to truck doors using forklifts, with order assembly done manually or using pallet jacks. The facility stores parts and supplies for enclosed car washes, including mechanical parts, cleaning solutions, rubber mats, and cloth scrubbers. Employees are required to wear steel toe shoes throughout their shifts, and the facility provides high visibility vests. The dress code is relaxed, allowing jeans or work pants and a hoodie or t-shirt.

This is a Contract position based out of Brownsburg, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.76 – $19.76/hr.
