Job Description

A subsea manufacturing company in Northwest Houston has an immediate need for two Warehouse Associates to join their team. You will perform routine inventory, shipping/receiving functions, and material handling under direct supervision. Your duties will include offloading trucks, placing equipment in inventory, transporting material to different departments, and shipping equipment out. You may operate both a stand-up forklift and sit-down forklift to pick material or transport it. The materials you will handle include larger oil and gas objects such as pipes, vessels, and compressors, as well as pallets prepped for shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inventory tasks including inventory counts and cycle counts.

  • Handle shipping and receiving functions, including offloading trucks and shipping equipment out.

  • Transport materials to different departments within the warehouse.

  • Operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to pick and transport materials.

  • Manage and track inventory using ERP systems, specifically Oracle/PeopleSoft.

  • Receive and process raw materials.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5+ years of warehouse experience.

  • 3+ years of inventory experience.

  • 3+ years of ERP system experience, specifically with Oracle/PeopleSoft.

  • Experience in receiving raw materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • PeopleSoft ERP experience.

  • Warehouse lead experience.

Work Environment

You will work in an air-conditioned shop environment that is fast-paced. The position is full-time, with a first shift schedule from 6 AM to 5 PM (sometimes starting at 5 AM), Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. An hour lunch break is provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOUSTON, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.50/hr.
