SUMMARY:

Responsible for the storage, picking, and issuance (to the shop floor) of raw materials. Also for the receipt of purchased items and other company supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items.
• Issues job skids to manufacturing supervisors and collects the supervisor’s signature on pick lists and ABMs.
• Receives inbound freight and visually inspects it for shipping damage.
• Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes.
• Sorts recently received items and places these items in their designated storage areas.
• Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion.
• Picks, pulls and packages outgoing shipments
• Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments
• Has knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia).
• Basic Microsoft office skills such as excel and word.
• Is able to operate a forklift when necessary.

REQUIRED education:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good organizational and communications skills. Standard business computer Application software required.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Munters New Employee Orientation, Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness.

HOURS OF WORK:

• Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs. Scheduled hours for the preparation and physical inventory will be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Heavy (Lifting up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis and climbing)
