Warehouse Supervisor (Robotics & Operations)

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to support the testing and development of Stretch, our innovative box-handling robot. You’ll lead a team, optimize warehouse operations, and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics

• Oversee warehouse staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support robot testing & development.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and optimize storage space.
• Manage trailer flow, loading/unloading, and logistics coordination.
• Track expenses and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Safety & Compliance

• Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocols in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate maintenance, third-party inspections, and DOT compliance.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Hire, train, and mentor full-time and part-time warehouse staff.
• Conduct 1:1 check-ins, training sessions, and team-building activities.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture with a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in warehouse operations, logistics, or a leadership role.
• Experience hiring, managing, and developing warehouse teams.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• 2+ years of safe forklift operation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Robotics or automation industry experience.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Salesforce, Rootstock, or other ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
• CDL license or DOT compliance knowledge.
