Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Dock Worker to assist with the manual loading and unloading of units. This role is highly physical and requires constant movement, lifting, and teamwork. Candidates must be comfortable lifting damaged bags weighing up to 50 lbs and are expected to remain on the floor and actively engaged.

Responsibilities

• Manually load and unload units from trailers with a team.
• Handle and reposition damaged or heavy bags (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Flex into other operational areas as needed (e.g., strapping, staging, inspection).
• Follow all safety protocols and team coordination procedures.

Essential Skills

• Material handling and packaging.
• Proficiency with a forklift and pallet jack.
• experience in warehouse inventory and order picking.
• Ability to label and stage items effectively.
• General labor skills including loading and unloading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computers and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable lifting 50 pounds.
• 6+ months of sit-down forklift experience.
• Order picking experience and inventory management in a computer system.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely fast-paced, requiring employees to move quickly and complete work orders within allocated times. The position operates on the 1st shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The company values teamwork and safety in its operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
