Salary: 16.00/hr.

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Express Employment, Atlanta NE location has an immediate need for a Warehouse Order Picker position in the Stone Mountain/Tucker area. This is a first shift, temp-to-hire position. Steel-toed boots required. Must have at least 2 years of previous warehouse experience operating a stand up forklift.

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform an array of warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• at least two years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving
• Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Experience with Reach truck, Forklift and Order Picker
• Experience with Carbon Flanges and Fittings a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience on Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-up Reach Truck or Picker.
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
