What You’ll Do
As a Welder, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Preparing materials and performing MIG welding and robotic welding (load/unload).
- Completing metal finishing operations to meet customer drawings and specifications.
- Following all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tagout, ergonomic practices, and machine start-up/shut-down.
- Performing quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Maintaining production efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Using our ERP system to manage shop orders and report production data.
- Participating in 5S practices and preventative maintenance.
- Assisting in other work areas as needed and working independently with minimal supervision.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, plus:
- 3-5 years of welding experience OR
- Technical degree and 1 year of experience.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, and memos in English (translation assistance available upon request).
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractors, etc.).
- Solid computer skills for navigation, scanning, and data entry.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and continuous learning.
