This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri

Job Description

• Perform various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations.
• Manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or instructions.
• Utilize welding equipment for repairs on submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
• Conduct process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Apply finish grinding using manual and power tools.
• Utilize various hand tools and equipment effectively.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques including MIG, flux core, and dual shield.
• Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters such as amps and volts.
• Ability to use conventional and precision measuring instruments.
• experience in welding (1 year preferred).
• Successful completion of an internal welding test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fitting, production, assembly, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in using mobile device applications and programs.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in changing ambient temperatures.

The pay range for this position is $39000.00 – $52000.00/yr.
