Team Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers, Machining, Process, Paint, and Production Control
DIRECTS:  None
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: 
Meets and demonstrates safety in the workplace. Ability to perform welding or fabrication tasks as assigned with moderate guidance or supervision. Proficient at following and looking up weld procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria. Ability to meet routed hours with acceptable quality. Demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with acceptable quality.   
MAJOR DUTIES:
 

1. Welds and fabricates basic to moderately advanced weldments with minimal quality errors (as outlined in the LSSI stamping discipline procedure)
2. Work from moderately advanced drawings and job layouts (3 & up pgs.)
3. Understand and read weld symbols
4. Moderately advanced crane operations and rigging – proficient at moving/flipping weldment using 2 cranes
5. Perform quality checks throughout process
6. Operate hand burn plasma and torch
7. Understand and apply weld sequencing
8. Basic to advanced fabrication techniques and Application
9. Basic to advanced straightening techniques
10. Mentor and train others
11. Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 60 pounds
• Long periods of standing, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
