This role will provide administrative and coordination support to the Next Charities department within our Head Office team.
As an experienced administrative assistant, you will play an important role in organising and coordinating on our ‘Together With Next’ Projects as well as supporting in all aspects of the charities day to day functions.
Responsibilities Support For Collaboration Projects
- Liaising with the charities coordinator to identify key collaborative projects and initiatives.
- To support the coordination of all projects from start to finish, with clear mapping of process and deliverables within set time scales and within budgets.
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders throughout the project roadmap alongside the charities coordinator.
- Supporting the charities coordinator to ensure that all legal requirements are in place through liaison with key legal stakeholders within the business.
- Carry out delegated activities to support the charities coordinator.
- Support with the completion of risk assessments for any events/venues.
- Support with the coordination of any events and PR activities.
Administration For Wider Charities Team
- Support the wider charities team with the day to day administration including internal comms and events.
- Support administrative tasks related to the charities programs.
- Any administrative task delegated by the charities manager and charity coordinator.
Accountabilities
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be capable of communicating effectively with Head Office stakeholders across all grades/levels as well as external contacts.
- Use their exceptional planning and time management skills to meet deadlines and achieve their tasks with minimal supervision
- Deliver their responsibilities effectively and with integrity, showing a positive attitude aligned with the Company Expectations
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working with Google – Docs, Sheets and Slides
- Some experience of project coordination and planning.
- Able to deal with multiple streams of information and tasks
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a large and varied workload and be flexible when priorities change
- Able to work independently and take the initiative to resolve issues and queries quickly
- Able to work collaboratively with the charities team as well as with other departments within the business
- Genuine desire to support our Next colleagues/customers and wider communities in line with our charitable aims.
