ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
We are seeking a research analyst to join the Due Diligence Unit within the Legal Office, which is based at WFP’s headquarters in Rome, Italy. The Due Diligence Unit was established to support implementation of WFP’s private sector partnerships and fundraising strategy. The Due Diligence Analyst will work remotely, reporting to a Legal Officer. The consultancy is expected to have an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under the general supervision of the Legal Officer, the Junior Consultant will be responsible for the following key duties:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent). A first-level university degree in combination with additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
Experience:
At least two years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge and skills:
Languages:
Fluency (level C) in oral and written English is required. Intermediate knowledge (level B) of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
ASSESSMENT
Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise, which may be followed by a competency-based interview.
