None
SALARY RANGE: $49,141 – $90,362 /year prorated, based on FTE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • Current teaching license issued by the Minnesota Department of education (MDE)

POSITION SUMMARY:
To create a safe and caring climate and culture in which we prepare, engage, educate, empower and inspire all learners in partnership with their surrounding community to be successful in today’s and tomorrow’s society.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Instructional Planning and Preparation
  • Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy
  • Demonstrate knowledge of students
  • Select instructional goals
  • Demonstrate knowledge of resources
  • Design coherent instruction
  • Assess student learning

Classroom Environment

  • Create an environment of respect and rapport
  • Establish a culture for learning
  • Manage classroom procedures
  • Manage student behavior
  • Organize physical space

Instructional Interaction

  • Communicate clearly and accurately
  • Use questioning and discussion techniques
  • Engage students in learning
  • Provide feedback to students
