Yard Worker/Equipment Operator

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely load, secure, and unload equipment, tools and building materials on all types of trucks.
• Maintain multiple yard locations, keeping them neat and organized.
• Perform minor maintenance on all types of equipment and trucks.
• Rig barge sections/crane parts and miscellaneous equipment.
• Drive/operate rack truck, loader, and forklift.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate all types of construction equipment for the purposes of loading and unloading.
• Ability to work outside in all-weather conditions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have a can-do attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
• Must have a driver’s license, CDL A is a plus.
• Willingness to work across multiple crews and trades as needed.
• Rigging experience is a plus.
• Experience operating cranes, loaders or other heavy equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the construction industry a plus.
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule.
