✅ Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that support the transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1.
✅ Create a warm and inclusive classroom where all children feel supported and encouraged.
✅ Develop early reading, writing, and numeracy skills using effective and engaging teaching strategies.
✅ Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
✅ Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure every child thrives.
✅ Work collaboratively with the KS1 team to enhance teaching and learning across the year group.What We’re Looking For✔ A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
✔ Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in a Year 1 setting.
✔ A strong understanding of early childhood development and phonics teaching.
✔ A creative and engaging teaching style that excites and motivates young learners.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate.
