About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Year 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team from January 2025. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting children’s emotional and social development, and ensuring their academic progress. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and a passion for helping children grow and achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students
· Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
· Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents
· Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff members
· Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
· Support the emotional and social development of students in Year 1
The Ideal Candidate:
· QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience or training in primary education
· A strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and assessment procedures
· Passionate about teaching and helping young children achieve their full potential
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A positive attitude and a desire to continuously improve as an educator
· A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents
