A progressive primary school in Merton is looking for a dynamic Year 2 Teacher to join their KS1 team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring Year 2 students are engaged and challenged to reach their full potential.

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons for Year 2 students.
• Monitor and track Year 2 student progress and provide targeted interventions when necessary.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for Year 2 learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective planning and teaching strategies for Year 2.
• Maintain regular communication with parents to keep them informed about Year 2 student progress.

Requirements:

• PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Year 2 students.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
