Job Title: Machine Set-up / Operator
Salary: Based off of experience
Shift: 1st Shift5:00 am to 3:30 pm M-Th, 5:00 am-10:00 am as needed
Summary: This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure high-quality production of precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery, a strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Keep work area clean and safe
  • Set up and adjust CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints
  • Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment before machining
  • Monitor machine operations making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers and gauges to ensure specifications are met
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to prevent downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of production output
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and excellent attendance
  • 2+ years prior CNC Vertical machine operator experience; Haas Machining experience preferred
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of G-code programming and machine controls
  • Familiarity with lathes, mills, etc
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Certification in CNC Machining or related field
