Location: Sussex, WI
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 10:45 PM-7:00 AM jobs-near-me.org Overtime as needed

Join Our Team!
We’re looking for a Converting Setup Technician – Tier One to help keep our converting machines running efficiently and our production lines moving. If you’re mechanically inclined, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working with your hands, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine startups and setups across all converting machines.
• Minimize operator downtime by ensuring machines are running quality product.
• Troubleshoot basic issues on half of the converting machines.
• Prepare machines with correct film, parts, and materials.
• Conduct quality checks post-setup.
• Operate electric pallet jacks, roll lifts, and hoists.
• Monitor gas tank levels and notify maintenance when needed.
• Assist fellow technicians and operators to maintain smooth operations.
• Step in to run production when machines are operating optimally.

Qualifications

• LOTO and electric pallet jack certified.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs unassisted.
• Comfortable bending, twisting, stooping, and standing for long periods.
• Reliable transportation and availability for overtime.

Preferred experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years as a setup technician.
• 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience with process control and mechanical systems.
