RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Retail Accountant’s responsibilities include compiling financial statements for 15 – 20 grocery stores.
• Preparation of income taxes (individual and corporate), providing operational consultation, tax planning, and other duties as assigned.
• Work days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Three years accounting experience in compilation and/or small business consulting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, and knowledge of the grocery industry would be helpful.
• Some travel may be required.
• Applicants for the Retail Accountant position should be able to work under pressure dealing with many deadlines.
• Applicants must also have good writing ability and excellent communications and organizational skills.
