The Administrative Assistant to the Development Director is responsible for all administrative and clerical activities in support of the Development Director (DD).

About the role:

  • Implement communications strategies set by DD, including creating social media content and overall approved social media channels; maintaining updated content on the corps’ website; writing donor communications; and creating and distributing quarterly newsletters for donors and the Advisory Board.
  • Organizes and implements all written and electronic components of the donor stewardship plan set by DD.
  • Assists with drafting and managing email communications with the Advisory Board and donors.
  • Set up all digital fundraising platforms for various campaigns and special events.
  • Manages DD’s schedule for donor asks and community speaking engagements.
  • Provides administrative support during special events and fundraising campaigns.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two (2) years experience as Executive Assistant to a high-level manager or executive (in a nonprofit setting helpful). 

Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
