Administrative Associate – Supply Chain Planning

We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate – Level III – Supply Chain Planning to join our team specializing in Operations for our EU Aftermarket Meritor Customer Service department in Redditch, Worcestershire, United Kingdom.

This is a temporary role for 12 months. 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Enhancing Efficiency: By accurately gathering, compiling, and verifying information, you’ll streamline processes and ensure that data is readily available for decision-making.
  • Supporting Decision-Making: Your preparation of statistical reports and research will provide valuable insights that aid in strategic planning and operational improvements.
  • Improving Communication: Through preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings, you’ll facilitate smooth and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring Accuracy: Your meticulous data entry and report generation will maintain high standards of accuracy, reducing errors and enhancing the reliability of departmental outputs.
  • Maintaining Policies: Documenting and maintaining departmental policies and procedures will help ensure compliance and consistency in operations.
  • Enhancing Visitor Experience: By receiving visitors and responding to inquiries, you’ll create a welcoming and informative environment, positively representing the organization.
  • Mentoring Colleagues: Acting as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience, you’ll contribute to their professional growth and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensuring Safe Working Environment: Act as point of contact for office support matters, working closely with the management team to adhere to policies as needed.

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Effective Planning and Alignment: The ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. This ensures that your tasks are completed efficiently and contribute to the overall objectives of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics: Skills in discovering, interpreting, and communicating qualitative and quantitative data. You should be able to apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to extract meaningful patterns and business insights, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Strong Data Communication and Visualization: The capability to construct a narrative around business problems, root causes, solution options, and opportunities through visual data representation, including reports and dashboards. This will be crucial for compiling critical information for the Senior Customer Service Manager.
  • Technical Proficiency and Attention to Detail: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, along with the ability to interrogate data effectively. Additionally, a strong administration background with a keen eye for detail will be essential for supporting Health & Safety activities and ensuring accuracy in all administrative tasks.

Education/Experience:

  • Will be responsible for compiling critical information for the Senior Customer Service Manager.
  • To be proficient with power point and excel and able to interrogate data.
  • Support with H&S activities for the site.
  • Strong administration background with a keen eye for detail.
