Location: Vancouver H/O – Canfor/CWPM_1000As Business Systems Analyst you will provide direct support to the sustainment and continuous improvement initiatives of Canfor’s North American Employee Central payroll system. You will collaborate with application managed services, IT, and product vendor support in the sustainment and improvement of business systems, leveraging, technology, analytics, and process design. In your role as Business Analyst you’ll your entrepreneurial spirit and highly analytical mind will come to the forefront as you collaborate, evaluate and communicate with teams and stakeholders as you influence change and deliver leading practice initiatives.As Business Systems Analyst you will:

• Support sustainment and improvement efforts of Canfor’s Human Resource Information Systems;
• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs and employee central payroll.
• Design, code, test and implement SAP modules and applications.
• Work closely with functional teams to understand their requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and implementation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
• Managing support tickets and enhancement request through the change control and release management processes.
• Execute, document, and complete all required unit and system testing.
• Support to various business teams in the development and roll-out of related processes, policies and ongoing training to ensure continuous improvement
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for system upgrades or implementations
• Key support role in execution of initiatives and projects across the business to ensure completion per timelines and stated objectives.
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication to gather business requirements, conduct root cause analysis, and propose recommendations
• Prepare project deliverables including, but not limited to, current state analysis, future state recommendations, process documentation, preparation of workshop materials, business enablement (change) plan & supporting materials, etc.
• Liaise with business, vendor, and IT resources to ensure initiatives and project activities are completed per timelines and stated objectives
• Coordinate project activities including but not limited to project management support, communication, organize workshops and meetings
• Key support role in facilitation, evaluation of business processes and problem-solving to develop cohesive recommendations and insights for various initiatives across the organization
• Facilitation services extended to various groups across the organization; including collaboration with managers, defining requirements and needs
• Liaison between business, vendor, and IT in multiple areas

Education & Experience

• University degree in business, technology, or process related area with a leaning towards deployment of digital transformation, innovative technologies, and continuous improvement
• Minimum 5 Years’ Experience with SAP ABAP development
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and applications
• Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques such as user exists and BAdIs
• Experience supporting interfaces to and from systems
• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, UKG Dimensions, Or Dell Boomi is an asset
• Experience with testing processes and software
• Background in management or digital transformation consulting is an asset
• Strong business acumen

The salary range for this position is: $88,500.00-$110,500.00Please Note: The range provided is for base salary only.
