Our Asset Advisory Services, Operations and Maintenance Team, has a significant track record of successful delivery across asset intensive sectors. We support our clients to help them drive performance and realise financial, social, environmental/natural, and intellectual value from their assets. We do this by working with clients in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, resilient, and innovative solutions to their performance issues. We work with their teams and stakeholders to unlock hidden data and provide insight into the performance of their asset base, helping them to work more effectively making, systems based, informed and timely decisions.
Our continued success in supporting many of the UK’s main utility providers and major infrastructure developers, brings significant growth across the group. As a result, we are looking to appoint Asset Management Consultants with Reliability Engineering experience into our Newcastle and Warrington teams focusing predominantly on supporting projects within the Energy sector.
Working within the Advisory Services Operations and Maintenance Team,you will provide clients with reliability engineering and asset lifecycle support, including analysing andidentify the underlying causes of equipment failure, operational issues, and asset degradation/deterioration. You will work with clients to develop and implement proactive and predictive maintenance strategiesto identify failures before they occur and analyse equipment data to identify trends and predict potential problems.
You may also become involved in other Stantec wide asset management/operations and maintenance delivery projects across all disciplinessupporting clients and colleagues with the development and delivery of programmes, projects, technical outputs, and measurable benefits.
The role will involve regular travel to client sites and offices throughout the UK.
About You
You will have experience with operating and maintaining assets, with good working knowledge of engineering plants and equipment, and an understanding of the applicable building services standards and structures.
You will also ideally have experience and a strong understanding in reliability engineering principles including root cause analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
You will have experience of working client relationships at an operational level, with a sound knowledge of current legislation, technical standards, and codes of practice. You should also have a strong knowledge of asset management policy/strategy and/or operations and maintenance experience, assessing and managing asset management risks, life-cycle decision-making and developing asset management plans. Above all, you will be inquisitive and keen to challenge the norms.
Ideally you will have experience of working within a regulated sector or within related sectors, e.g. water, energy/nuclear, buildings, infrastructure, or facilities management sectors.
An awareness of using CMMS and CAFM systems is desirable, with a significant understanding of health and safety in an operational environment including adhering to risk assessments.
