We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to support our finance and accounting teams as we continue to scale our operations.

The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the Controller in managing the company’s accounting operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in public accounting and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information
• Assist in managing general ledger activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Collaborate with the Controller to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for business decision-making
• Manage the preparation of various regulatory and tax filings
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• CPA certification required
• 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures
• Experience with ERP systems (experience with SAP, NetSuite is a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
