We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Company as a full-time Assistant Store Manager for one of our CALZEDONIA stores in London.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you are supporting the Store Manager, and during their absence, in organizing work within the store to ensure smooth and successful store operations. This role requires adherence to all Calzedonia UK Ltd policies and procedures. Your responsibilities include creating a positive work environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading the team with your strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Assistant Store Manager also participates in essential team duties that contribute to the store’s overall performance, including visual merchandising, daily replenishment, cash handling, stock management, and maintenance of the premises.

Main Accountabilities
Sales & Customer Service
Lead by example, coaching the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets.
Analyse KPIs (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and take proactive measures to drive sales and maximize revenue.
Provide regular performance updates to the Store Manager, including sales figures and customer feedback.
Handle customer complaints and manage returns.
Operations:
Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling and compliance with company policies.
Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring displays are attractive and aligned with brand guidelines.
Oversee the display and care of marketing materials and visuals, ensuring they are maintained and presented according to brand guidelines.
Assist in managing store inventory, including stock replenishment and organization.
Collect and report feedback on collection performance and stock issues to the Store Manager, District Manager, and Visual Manager, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed.
Uphold store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
Staff Management, Training & Development:
Ensure team members are briefed on daily targets and goals at the start of each shift to align efforts and drive performance.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members utilize their strengths.
Motivate the sales team, introducing competitions to reach store targets.
Manage staff rotas and cover in collaboration with the District Manager during the Store Manager’s absence.
Train and coach the team, fostering skill development and ensuring consistent application of store standards and practices.
Follow up on administrative HR procedures
Report any disciplinary issues to the HR department in the Store Manager’s absence.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
