Project Brief and Scope of Work

The initiative aims to foster collaborative energy efficiency efforts among private enterprises. Given the high energy costs and reliance on outdated technologies, businesses—particularly SMEs—face challenges in adopting energy-efficient practices. This program seeks to develop and implement a sustainable model for energy efficiency networks. By leveraging successful examples from other regions, the initiative will facilitate knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building efforts to drive scalable energy savings and carbon reduction across industries.

The program will include a landscape assessment, piloting of network formation, and capacity-building activities to equip stakeholders with the tools needed for long-term sustainability. Additionally, strategies for financing, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge dissemination will be developed to ensure the project’s success in promoting energy-efficient solutions across industries.

The following are key activities to be lead by the Communication and
Knowledge Management Consultant:
● Identify and engage key stakeholders, including industry associations, energy service companies (ESCOs), and SMEs, to participate in the network.
● Knowledge Dissemination & Capacity Building – Develop and implement capacity-building initiatives, including workshops, webinars, and digital resources, to educate stakeholders on energy efficiency
● Communication and Promotion – Design and produce communication materials (brochures, presentations, digital content) to promote the energy efficient concept.
● Workshop Facilitation & Data Integration – Organize and facilitate regional knowledge-sharing sessions, incorporating stakeholder feedback to refine project tools and strategies
● Sustainability and Strategy Development – Contribute to the development of long-term sustainability strategies, including financing mechanisms and policy recommendations energy efficiency for implementation.

Education/Training: Master in Communication, Public Relations, Sustainable Development, or a related field
Language: English
Professional experience:
● Over seven years of expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and developing capacity-building programs.
● Five years of experience organizing and leading webinars and workshops, with a focus on energy and sustainability.
● Three years of involvement in projects across Southeast Asia, including development cooperation initiatives.
● Well-versed in the opportunities and challenges of energy efficiency in the region.
