The Role

As an AArete Consultant, you will work closely with clients to obtain an
understanding of critical issues and create strategies for meaningful change.
In doing so, you’ll leverage your analytical skills, entrepreneurial
spirit, and commitment to excellence. High-performing, self-starter,
critical thinker with exceptional communication skills is how you are
described. You take the lead to research business challenges, data
analytics, business case development, and supporting project success.

In this role, you are responsible for demonstrating in-depth practice
knowledge and skills and will be accountable for the successful execution of
project goals and analytical deliverables. You’ll have an opportunity to
make an impact by solving unique business challenges, both with client and
internal projects.

Work You’ll Do
Support projects to successful outcomes through:
Analysis and research of business problems
Data analytics
Determination of potential solutions to business problems through research,
analytics, interviews, etc.
Support with the creation of business cases
Support with implementation
Work collaboratively within your project team
Learn from more experienced team members to grow your skills
Lead and coach Analysts
Prepare deliverables for final review with engagement manager
Exercise excellent judgement and clear and direct communications in all
aspects of your work

Requirements
2+ years of consulting experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Intermediate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic
SQL for data analysis
Strong professional communication skills including written, verbal,
interpersonal and in-person presentation expertise
Strong analytical, data analysis, and interpretation skills; and ability
to learn methodologies to identify client savings opportunities and put
together an actionable business case
Interest in the healthcare industry, specifically on the payer side
Enthusiasm for joining a fast-paced, high-growth company and being a part of
the business architecture of technology applications and tools
High self-motivation, accountability, and encouragement toward others
Direct client interaction, including possible travel to client location
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for
employer sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
Strong preference for experience with the healthcare industry, specifically
on the payer side
Experience with AArete’s other focus industries: Healthcare Providers,
Financial Services, Education, Retail & Consumer, Transportation,
Logistics, & Distribution, Public Sector, and Technology &
Professional Service
Familiarity with SQL
Based in Chicago, IL and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed
