You will join a constantly growing Risk Consulting team within EY Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro Consulting Department, with an excellent balance of seniority and youth, to contribute to the delivery of quality services for our diverse clients. The role will best suit a motivated and ambitious team player who wants to expand knowledge about risk management, financial management, regulatory landscape that is applied in banks and other financial institutions in Serbia and abroad (Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and other countries – EU and non-EU).

Your key responsibilities

• Assist in execution of consulting projects for financial institutions (mainly banks) and take initiative and ownership of the tasks
• Assist in delivering customized solutions to our clients to fulfil regulatory and business requirements
• Understanding and applying fundamental risk management and methodology principles
• Performing analysis and documentation of business and technical processes in banks
• Research banking industry leading practices related to governance, risk, methodology and compliance
• Provide timely, comprehensive and accurate information in both written and verbal communications
• Assist in preparation of pre-sales materials and client proposals
• Conduct research on specific risk management and finance topics

Position requirements

• Strong academic background: BSc/MSc in Economics, Finance, Business, Management or related fields
• From 1 to 3 years of working experience in banking or consulting industry on projects related to financial institutions
• Preferable experience in risk management in banks, ALM, internal audit or Big 4 experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
