Are you a Corporate Partner in Leeds looking for something a little bit different? They have outstanding clients across a range of sectors, including some particularly exciting ones within the technology, media and entertainment sectors. Ranked tier 1 in the Legal 500 in other locations for corporate law and looking to establish a corporate team in Leeds where their ambition is to become full service within those key sectors. They are quite open to how this could look however the ideal would be, an individual or team with business development skills and an established name in the corporate market. Expertise in tech, media and entertainment sectors would be ideal too but isn’t essential. The firm have a supportive and realistic perspective and wouldn’t expect a person to join them and but up and running straight away, they know that establishing new teams takes time and would be looking to work with you on this, including in being able to send work from other offices to create a soft landing. They also have a whole host of people, both in different teams, and different locations, who would proactively work with you to immerse you in their client base.This innovative firm, who are relatively new to Leeds, they have brought a completely different approach to the market and one that is extremely refreshing. They believe that their lawyers thrive when they are given the support and space to do so and as a consequence, they don’t set high targets.
