The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) promotes and protects the public interest by governing and regulating the practice of human resource professionals across Ontario. Our mission is to enhance the knowledge, skill, and proficiency of the HR professionals who drive economic growth, elevate workplace talent, and contribute to safe, fair, and thriving work environments.
We are seeking a lawyer with a background in professional regulation to play a key role in developing and implementing policies and processes to support the maintenance of high standards of HR practice.Role Overview
As Counsel, Regulatory and Policy, you will play a pivotal role at the HRPA. Using your experience and expertise in professional regulation, you will drive enhancements to our practices, policies, and processes; provide legal support and advice to the HRPA; and develop resources for HR professionals.
This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives on having a varied workday, balancing regulatory operations with policy development and implementation and legal advice—and who is passionate about making a meaningful impact on workplaces in Ontario and beyond.
