Job Description:
Director, Workday Programs
This Director, Workday Programs provides strategic oversight of Brown’s Workday system and related programmatic functions, serving as a key partner to functional teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment with institutional goals. The role leads the Workday Program team, overseeing day-to-day operations, service delivery, and business processes, while driving both short- and long-term initiatives aimed at optimizing and enhancing the University’s use of Workday. With a focus on continuous improvement, this position plays a critical role in maximizing the value of Brown’s ERP investment by supporting centralized administrative processes, policy implementation, and evolving data needs across the institution.
In collaboration with the ACIO, Enterprise Applications, this position is responsible for managing and advancing university-wide programmatic initiatives on behalf of Brown’s leadership. The incumbent provides strategic leadership for administrative efforts that span multiple departments, ensuring initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with Workday and other institutional systems, processes, and priorities. Serving as the University’s Workday subject matter expert, this role delivers critical insight and guidance to support informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.
