English Graduate Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing: As a English Graduate Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them improve their reading, writing, and comprehension skills
• Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring students are engaged in the curriculum
• Supporting students during class discussions and group activities, encouraging creative thinking and effective communication
• Helping students with revision techniques and exam preparation, ensuring they are ready for assessments
• Encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills, analysis, and a passion for literature
• Supporting classroom management, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment
• Collaborating with the English department and other teaching staff to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional learning needs

English Graduate Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

• A 2:1 degree or higher in English, English Literature, or a related subject
• Strong academic background (A-levels/GCSE’s)
• A genuine passion for English and a desire to inspire students to achieve their best
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively
• Previous experience in tutoring or educational support is desirable but not essential
