General Labor – Pipe Plant Team Member

The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.

We are seeking a General Labor – Pipe Plant Team Member for County Materials at our St. Louis, MO location.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and inspect concrete forms before production
  • Follow basic production instructions and layout drawings
  • Place and secure steel reinforcement using tools provided
  • Install concrete accessories in specified locations
  • Clean forms, tools, and work areas after production cycles (may require respirator)
  • Stage materials and components to keep production moving
  • Assist with moving materials using forklifts or cranes (once trained)
  • Support quality control, plant cleaning, and safety activities
  • Perform other general labor or production tasks as assigned

Work Environment:

  • Primarily indoor manufacturing with some outdoor exposure
  • May involve heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipment
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk for most of the shift
  • Bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Use hand tools, tie guns, and other equipment
  • Work safely around moving machinery and automated equipment

experience & Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • 0-2 years of related experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
