DESCRIPTION
This Inpatient Rehab Manager position will provide direct supervision to therapy staff including but not limited to Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, as well as Rehab Aides for inpatient services based at the East Campus. Responsibilities include but not limited to: maintaining departmental efficiency, productivity and performance, hiring and staffing, and resolution of daily clinical program and operational issues. The Inpatient Manager will be responsible for leading the inpatient team to meet organizational goals, exemplifying UC San Diego Health core values, and supporting efforts to provide outstanding patient care and customer service. The manager position requires a weekend on-call manager schedule. The provision of patient care is at times required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy.
Licensed in related Rehabilitation Service.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date
Five (5) or more years experience working as a Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist. experience.
Minimum one year managerial experience in an acute inpatient therapy department.
Prior experience leading meetings, managing departmental scheduling, and participating in regulatory affairs.

Annual Full Pay Range: $108,100 – $204,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $51.77 – $98.13
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
