Shift: 2nd or 3rd
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:00pm or 11:00pm – 7:00am

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
– Performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on production machinery and facility equipment
– Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
– Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests and performing scheduled maintenance during machine service windows
– Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams and technical manuals
– Operating equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts safely and efficiently
– Executing basic machining and fabrication as needed
– Diagnosing equipment issues, replacing or repairing faulty components and verifying repairs through testing and adjustments
– Completing preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules and work orders
– Utilizing hand and power tools, electric meters and other diagnostic equipment
– Identifying and reporting abnormal equipment behaviors, defective materials, or unsafe conditions to supervision
– Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies
Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
– Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance or equivalent experience
– 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
– Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial maintenance practices
– Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
– Basic computer literacy and solid math skills
– Organized and detail-oriented; strong commitment to equipment care, cleanliness, and safety
– Plastic extrusion industry experience preferred
– Forklift experience
– Ability to stand / walk for prolonged periods
– Ability to lift / move 75 pounds
