All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** PRN **Shift** :Days **The community you’ll be caring for:** AdventHealth Carrollwood ·Family-like culture ·Teamwork driven both inter Dept and multidisciplinary ·Positive working climate to support a well-balanced work life balance **The role you’ll contribute:** Responsible for performing acceptable mammographic examinations which are assigned, utilizing proper technique and positioning with proper personal and patient radiation protection. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Resolves customer service issues in a timely, courteous and efficient manner · Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same · Provides imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race or sex. · Technologist is proficient on the use of their specific imaging equipment and the department’s policies and procedures · Consults with radiologist and/or referring physician concerning screening vs. diagnostic examinations if necessary · Reviews previous mammogram prior to exam for possible comparison. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** · High school graduate or equivalent · Graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology · Board certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in mammography. · Certified by the State of Florida, Department of Health & Rehabilitative Services, Division of Office of Radiation Control (Florida Statue 468) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
