Play an essential role in Digby’s Brand Brand building is at the centre of everything we do at Digby Fine English. We are seeking a new member of our ambitious team to continue building the success Digby, by helping to deliver world-class engagement with our digital, domestic and international customers. The role offers a unique opportunity to bring your own personal touch to the growth of the Digby brand.Responsibilities As Digby Marketing Manager, you will:Marketing
- Create, drive and execute the annual marketing plan, and manage the marketing budget, working closely with the CEO
- Envision and champion the customer acquisition funnel for all major sales channels, working closely with the rest of the team
- Extend the activities and content from the consumer and product marketing plans to help drive trade and export sales
- Be passionate about the written word, copywriting and copy editing
- Project manage and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns which are targeted, segmented & automated
- Be highly numerate and enjoy delivering quantifiable results – manage reporting on KPI’s and suggest opportunities to improve performance
- Build and protect the company brand and manage brand assets including web, printed and POS content
- Coordinate events that support the marketing plan
- Work in collaboration with external partners to develop supporting marketing plans to drive sales targets, with a focus on new business
eCommerce and Retail marketing
- Collaborate and implement seasonal marketing campaigns, working closely with the eCommerce manager to drive online sales conversion.
- Own user experience and engagement across all our digital channels
- Own digital and social reporting and present in weekly meetings including top line and category performance.
- Analyse the sources of traffic and conversions and feed into marketing actions
- Explore promotional offers with the eCommerce manager, implement them timely and verify results for continuous improvement
- Research competitors trade activity to identify opportunity and improvements
- Review our online customer service proposition and make improvements where necessary
Trade Events and Networking
- Organise, attend and host wine trade focused events
- Build campaigns in line with the marketing event schedule, track and analyse customer interaction feeding into sales pipeline and customer retention.
- Plan and implement product launches and broader messaging for important Digby moments.
- Build your network amongst the UK and international wine trade making sure Digby is in all the right places at the right times.
- Be passionate about spreading the Digby message to key channels of Press and PR
- Convert interest to opportunity in our key on and off trade sales channels
Working Hours Permanent, full-time role
- Monday to Friday 9:00 – 5:30, with half an hour for lunch
- Occasional evenings and weekends based on events and team needs
- Note: Digby would consider part-time applicants for this role
Location This is a hybrid, flexible working role. National travel will be required occasionally. - Passion for excellence and a cheeky sense of fun
- Between 1 – 10 years luxury marketing experience – yes, we are open to a range of backgrounds
- Experience in website management and marketing (agency or in-house)
- Familiarity with eCommerce and eMarketing tools, MS Office Tools (Excel, Power Point), Photoshop, Google Analytics, etc.
- All things digital with a desire to learn including but not limited to Facebook / Twitter / Instagram / YouTube / Google / Yahoo / MailChimp, apps, smartphones…
- Genuine Passion for customer, luxury / fashion and the brand’s target audience & proven experience of dealing with customers
- Good with data and attention to detail – customer analysis, segmentation, sales follow-up
- Show a broad interest in technology and demonstrate a sensibility to good UX/design and data-driven user testing
- Goal oriented and performance driven
- Detail oriented, ability to multitask, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously – Digby is a small entrepreneurial business, so there will be times when you’ll need to get stuck in with other tasks!
- Team player mentality, with flexibility and willingness to take initiative and pitch in
- Clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred
- Wine industry experience helpful but not required
