Post Doctoral.Post Doctoral.Associate Med-Cardiothoracic Surgery – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – 24008041

Organizing and managing the research lab/program of Dr. Ibrahim Sultan. This includes coordinating the collection and collation of new data for future projects; development of hypotheses, designing and carrying out statistical analyses, and dissemination of results.

Supervising medical students and collaborating with residents who participate in data collection and other aspects of the groups research projects; arranging database creation and updates with our statisticians data analyst and managers

Supporting evidence-building with presentations, abstracts, and manuscripts for the research group at local and national meetings

Helping manage all projects throughout all phases of their lifecycle from inception to publication. In addition, the postdoctoral associate will work on other scholarly projects for the research program.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Postdoc position requires an MD or Ph.D. degree in biological science or another relevant technical background

Demonstrated independent research output

Any research experience is preferred.

Experienced post-doctoral candidates are preferred; however, those applicants with a strong interest in the field of research are encouraged to apply.
