Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher located in Plymouth commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 1 day initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.This school, boasts an ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted. It places a high value on fostering the intellectual growth of students and staff.Your duties as a Primary School Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Foster a love for learning by creating a stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback to support their development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a supportive school community.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring all learners can succeed.
• Support students’ personal and social development, encouraging respect, responsibility, and independence.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.

To be considered for this Primary School Teacher position, you will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum (Key Stages 1 and 2).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
• Ability to differentiate teaching to support all learners.
