Production Lead (CNC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in creating and developing a training program for Finishing/Visual across 3 shifts.
• Train new and current employees in all areas of the workcell (@ stone, visual, belting etc.).
• Create & document proper techniques/methods for all areas of the workcell.
• Monitor and provide timely input on training progress to assist supervisor with employee performance appraisals.
• Work with engineering on continuous improvement on quality systems and requirements.
• Assist lead person and supervisor to help increase productivity, solve scrap issues and reduce rework.
• Maintain all training records for workcell areas per ISO/AS requirements.
• Other duties assigned by supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Thorough understanding and interpretation of QEI/PEI/SOP’S.
• Experience with computers a plus.
• Capable of having numerous training activities in process at the same time.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous training experience a plus.
